Michael will be showing three figure paintings at this year's Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries. The exhibition runs from 3rd-18th of May.

This country’s leading portrait exhibition collects together some of the best recent painted and drawn portraiture. Comprising over 200 portraits of celebrities and major public figures as well as outstanding work by members of the Society, and by artists selected on the merit of their work, this is a benchmark for current practice and a perfect showcase for those wishing to commission a portrait.

Celebrity portraits this year include dancer, Carlos Acosta, actors Joseph Fiennes and Eric Sykes. June Mendoza will be exhibiting portraits of the broadcaster and former politician David Mellor, QC and his partner Lady Cobham, the pianist Piers Lane and of the cellist Steven Isserlis. Saied Dai has captured the entrepreneur and philanthropist Dame Stephanie Shirley on canvas and David Poole has depicted the Justice Secretary and veteran politician Rt. Hon. Kenneth Clarke.

As an addition, preparatory work and portraits of H.M. The Queen will be on show to commemorate her Diamond Jubilee.
