Posts relating to works which are a representation of the human form. They may be clothed or nude.
Our need to make representations of the human figure is fundamental, being as it is nothing less than a likeness of ourselves. For that reason I have always regarded it to be the primary subject for representational art, as it has been since antiquity.

Seated Figure with Cycle Helmet is to be shown at a mixed exhibition to celebrate Dorset Art Weeks at Kelly Ross's The Art Stable, Child Okeford, Dorset.

Figure with Box is on show at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters exhibition. It was awarded the Smallwood Architects Prize for 'contextual portraiture'.
